Lab Bill Questions?
Lab Testing - Uncovered Tests or Limited Insurance Coverage
In the event a charge for labs is higher than anticipated or not covered, please reach out to the specific lab listed on your bill.
We primarily work with Express Labs and have negotiated rates for reduced charges to our patients but depending on your specific insurance plan, another Lab Testing Company may be used. We encourage our patients to understand if their insurance has a preferred lab location for optimal coverage and any limitations for testing.
'Cash Pay' pricing is available upon request. Any insured patients that would like to bill labs as 'cash pay' may do so with the required consent completed. Please reach out to the office for details.
Even with insurance plans that have poor coverage, our comprehensive standardized Functional Lab Panel should NEVER be over $500-600 even with limited coverage if billed through our office OR Express Labs. (This does not include the addition of specialty labs or tests). Please reach out to Express Labs Billing at 208-529-8330 for potential adjustments to your bill if your bill reflects Express Labs as the biller.
*Other independent labs testing companies such as Lab Corp or through a hospital group may be able to make a reduction to your bill although this is not guaranteed.
