At East to West Functional Medicine, we take pride in being able to be your Primary Care Physician's office as well as dig deeper into your health to address a wide variety of specialty health concerns during our functional appointments for adults and even pediatrics. We even accept insurance!
Curious about the different types of appointments we offer?
Getting to know your provider and allowing us to get to know you. We really get down to the details and have a variety of questions for you.
This first appointment is crucial to getting to the root cause of your concerns and optimizing your health at future appointments. See our New Patient for details on this visit. We can't wait to meet you!
Your Annual Visit is when we do a comprehensive Physical Exam plus a Lab Review to ensure your levels are optimal. We can make recommendations or adjustments to current supplementation and medication. For Women's exams, Paps are offered as well.
We will take note of any additional concerns and may require following up to thoroughly evaluate and address these.
Your Annual Visit with us is required each year for continued care and prescribing.
Following Up on a concern? Follow-ups are essential for evaluating and relaying results for labs, imaging and more. These appointments allow your provider to dedicate time to you - and you alone. We value the opportunity and ability to be able to treat a variety of concerns from ADHD to mold toxicity and beyond while accepting insurance.
So we can continue to operate under an insurance model and address multiple concerns, at times, more than one follow-up may be required.
Cough? Cold? Upset Stomach?
We can help! While we do not operate as an urgent care facility, we strive to work patients into the schedule when something unexpected comes up. These appointments are to address your sickness and help you get back to feeling better. For lab questions or any additional concern outside of this quick sick visit we kindly request you schedule a follow-up. As a reminder: Please call 911 or visit an Urgent Care/ER for any serious or life threatening concerns.
Need a little flexibility?
We offer Follow-Ups, Sick (Acute) Visits and New Patient Appointments via Telehealth.
Telehealth. Review labs, imaging, update medications, request referrals and more with convenience.
Our Telehealth is via a secure platform and is available through your online Charm EHR account by appointment only. This appointment type does not change how a follow-up is billed to insurance - it does however save you a trip into the office!
Relax in our Massage Chairs while receiving Nutritional and Therapeutic IV Therapy in office. Our IV suite allows for you to watch a movie, get caught up on emails, or even take a nap with dimmable lighting, blankets, wifi, and tv! IV Therapy is available by appointment only.
Boost your immune, treat chronic conditions, fight inflammation and more with the effectiveness of Intravenous Infusions.

We love the littles (and the not so littles)!
New Patient Pediatric appointments are considered 'Well Child Checks' and allow our providers to do a physical exam and learn about the pediatric patient's history. We know you may have many concerns and questions and we will be happy to address them! We may ask to schedule Follow-Ups or Telehealth appointments to thoroughly address concerns outside of the basic Well Child Check.
What is a Well Child Check? This visit is a routine visits for comprehensive preventive health services that occur when a baby is young and annual visits until a child reaches ages 18. Our providers do a physical exam, measurements, vision and hearing screening, and an oral health risk assessment. For Newborns we typically schedule these within the first week and at 1 month, 2 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months from their birth date or as requested by the parent.
Treating Root Cause is not only for Adults!
Any question or concern outside of a traditional Well Child Check will require a Follow-Up to allow our providers to dedicate time to researching, understanding, explaining, and addressing a concern. Detailed questions about ADHD, vaccinations, mold exposure, lab results and more can be answered as we enable optimal health for our pediatrics!
Telehealth may be available in situations where physical examination is not required.
Lab Testing is a primary way our providers are able to dig deeper and have a thorough approach to treating the whole person. Prior to each Annual Exam, we test for a 'Full Functional Lab Panel' that includes results on your blood counts, metabolic health, hormone and vitamin levels. At times, additional tests may be requested for Gut Health, Mold, Heavy Metals, Lyme, EBV, and more.
Please contact your insurance for details on coverage for lab tests. Some tests also have a discounted 'Cash Pay' rate available through specific labs.
Nutrition is a key pillar of health.
Our providers are able to make the connection between your diet, lifestyle, and well-being.
When necessary, our educated providers are able to utilize natural supplementation in addition to pharmaceuticals enabling patients to reach their weight loss goals, improve results on lab tests, and feel better in the day to day. Nutrition Counseling appointments may be scheduled as a Follow-Up or Telehealth.
